Deborah Millington Holmes, partner in the firm, is an attorney licensed to practice in California, the District of Columbia, and before the United States Supreme Court. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge in 1977, her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1990, and a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from National University in 2009. Her current practice emphasizes adoption litigation, adoption, and paternity matters. She also practices in areas addressing child-related issues such as child abuse, guardianship, and grandparent visitation.
Deborah has served as a Judge Pro Tem in the Los Angeles Superior Court, is frequently appointed by the courts to represent children, and does extensive pro bono work furthering the rights of children and families.
